Challengers

Recovery begins by healing old wounds, and most likely theses wounds were caused by people in our past and present lives. Describe in your journal three old enemies of your creative self-worth. Please be as specific as possible in doing this exercise. Your creative challengers are the building blocks of your core negative beliefs. (Yes, little annoying siblings do count- when I was twelve, he always calling me names to get a rise out of me...the things he said does matter. Put them in.) More challengers will come along the way as you work through your recovery. It is always necessary to acknowledge creative injuries and grieve them. Otherwise they become creative scar tissue and stunt your growth.
